INFINITI Partners with Waze on Pave it Forward

March, as many Dayton residents know, is Women's History Month. INFINITI demonstrated its commitment to equality during this important celebration by partnering with Waze to launch the Pave it Forward initiative! Waze is an app that allows users to see traffic in real-time. This means that you can navigate around accidents, traffic snarls, and other problems on the road. The Pave it Forward initiative highlighted sites important to women's history - and present - across the United States and Canada! We are proud that INFINITI took this important step.

What does Pave it Forward highlight?

The Pave it Forward initiative highlighted two distinct, yet related, things. The first is modern, women-owned businesses. These popped up on Waze to help raise awareness of their existence! INFINITI believes in supporting women's work, and in highlighting it.

Pave it Forward also highlighted historical spots that marked big turning points in women's history. The Pave it Forward program was put into action in many cities. These were: Philadelphia, New York City, Chicago, Boston, D.C., Tampa, Miami, Dallas, Los Angeles, Houston, Nashville, San Francisco, Vancouver, and Toronto.

Where INFINITI Fits In

While much of the Pave it Forward campaign really took place on Waze's app, INFINITI played an important role in putting it all together. In addition to allowing users to change their vehicle on the app to the QX60, INFINITI helped determine which historical sites to include in the initiative. INFINITI and Waze worked with the National Women's History Museum to figure out what sites should be included!
